لِإِيلَٰفِ قُرَيۡشٍ
For the accustomed security of the Quraysh,

- Allah had given Quraysh the honor of being guardians of the Holy Ka‘bah, which allowed them to travel in peace without fear of being harmed.

لِإِيلَٰفِ قُرَيۡشٍ
For the accustomed security of the Quraysh,
إِۦلَٰفِهِمۡ رِحۡلَةَ ٱلشِّتَآءِ وَٱلصَّيۡفِ
secure in their winter and summer journeys.
فَلۡيَعۡبُدُواْ رَبَّ هَٰذَا ٱلۡبَيۡتِ
Let them worship the Lord of this [Sacred] House,
ٱلَّذِيٓ أَطۡعَمَهُم مِّن جُوعٖ وَءَامَنَهُم مِّنۡ خَوۡفِۭ
Who fed them against hunger and made them secure against fear.
