أَلۡهَىٰكُمُ ٱلتَّكَاثُرُ

増やし合いが、あなた方を（アッラー*への服従から）そっちのけにさせる、

財産、子供、仲間、軍勢、部下、地位など、アッラー*のためではなく、他人に対する数量的な優勢を意図した全ての物事における「増やし合い」のこと（アッ＝サアディー９３３頁参照）。
あるいは、「来世を求めること」（イブン・カスィール８：４７2参照）。
