The Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) would not refuse a gift of perfume
Anas ibn Mālik (may Allah be pleased with him) reported:
The Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) would not refuse a gift of perfume.
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ لَا يَرُدُّ الطِّيبَ.
It was a habit of the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) to not refuse a gift of perfume and would accept it, as it is light in weight and has a pleasant smell.
It is recommended to accept the gift of perfume, as it is light in weight and does not incur reminders of generosity from the giver.
The Prophet’s acceptance of perfume gifts indicates his perfect and good manners.
We are encouraged to apply perfumes.
