فَٱصۡفَحۡ عَنۡهُمۡ وَقُلۡ سَلَٰمٞۚ فَسَوۡفَ يَعۡلَمُونَ

ならば（使徒*よ）、彼らを見逃してやり、「（私がすべきは）平安である」と言うのだ。彼らはやがて、（自分たちが遭遇する試練と懲罰を）知るであろう。

つまり、彼らから安全な状態であり、かつ彼らとの平穏（へいおん）な状態を保つこと（アッ＝シャウカーニー４：７４2参照）。
