All praise is due to Allah. To proceed: I have reviewed the book (What A Muslim Must Know) by honorable Shaykh Khalid bin Hamad al-Kharif and found it to be a beneficial book. It comprehensively covers what is essential to know about the religion of Islam, is supported by evidence from the Qur’an and the Sunnah, in a clear style. It is a useful book on its subject. May Allah reward its author, Shaykh Khālid, with the best reward, and make his knowledge beneficial.

Introduction
Praise be to Allah. We praise Him, seek His help, and ask for His forgiveness. We seek refuge with Allah from the evil of our own selves and from our evil deeds. Whoever Allah guides, none can misguide, and whoever He misguides, none can guide. I bear witness that there is no god but Allah, alone, with no partner, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His servant and Messenger.
To proceed: It is the duty of every Muslim to learn the matters of his religion that he cannot be ignorant of, whether in creed, worship, or transactions. And he must not abandon the religion of Allah Almighty by not learning it and not acting upon it.
Therefore, it is incumbent upon a Muslim to learn what makes his religion sound, so that he may worship Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, with knowledge. Thus, he does not resemble the Christians who act without knowledge, nor the Jews who have knowledge but do not act upon it. We ask Allah to save us from their path. In view of the fact that many people are ignorant about the fundamentals of religion and owing to the predominance of ignorance, I decided to write a book on things that every Muslim man and woman needs to know about the indispensable issues of creed and acts of worship.
I divided this book into three chapters:
The first chapter is about the creed, the second chapter is about the acts of worship, and the third chapter is about the transactions.
I ask Allah Almighty to make it beneficial to every seeker of the truth and to make it done sincerely for His sake. Indeed, Allah is the All-Bountiful, the Most Generous.
May Allah's peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions
