٣٤ : ٣٥
وَقَالُواْ نَحۡنُ أَكۡثَرُ أَمۡوَٰلٗا وَأَوۡلَٰدٗا وَمَا نَحۡنُ بِمُعَذَّبِينَ
They said, “We have greater wealth and more children, and we will not be punished”.

- i.e., the affluent ones of the people of Makkah and others.
