٣ : ١٢٢
إِذۡ هَمَّت طَّآئِفَتَانِ مِنكُمۡ أَن تَفۡشَلَا وَٱللَّهُ وَلِيُّهُمَاۗ وَعَلَى ٱللَّهِ فَلۡيَتَوَكَّلِ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنُونَ
When two parties from among you were about to lose courage, but Allah was their protector. Let the believers put their trust in Allah.

- These two parties were the tribes of Banu Salimah and Banu Hārithah, but Allah made them remain firm. Allah tacitly reminds the believers of the reason for their setback in the Battle of ’Uhud. Essentially, the archers left their positions appointed for them by the Prophet (ﷺ).
