كَذَّبَتۡ قَبۡلَهُمۡ قَوۡمُ نُوحٖ وَأَصۡحَٰبُ ٱلرَّسِّ وَثَمُودُ

(niet alleen Qoeraysh verloochende hun profeet maar) ook vóór hen, het volk van Noeh, en de bewoners van Rass en de Thamoed.
