2 : 7
خَتَمَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِهِمۡ وَعَلَىٰ سَمۡعِهِمۡۖ وَعَلَىٰٓ أَبۡصَٰرِهِمۡ غِشَٰوَةٞۖ وَلَهُمۡ عَذَابٌ عَظِيمٞ
Allah has sealed their hearts and their hearing, and their sight is covered; and for them there will be a great punishment.

- A covering preventing from discerning guidance, as a result of their arrogance and persistence in sin.
