وَإِنَّهُۥ لَحَسۡرَةٌ عَلَى ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ

また、本当にそれは、まさに不信仰者*たちへの悲痛である。

不信仰者*たちは、自分たちがクルアーン*によって約束されていたもの（罰）を目にする時、それによって導かれず、それに従いもしなかったことゆえに褒美（ほうび）を貰い損ね、現世に戻る機会も失ったことを知り、「悲痛」の念にとらわれる（アッ＝サアディー８８４頁参照）。
