فَذَرۡهُمۡ حَتَّىٰ يُلَٰقُواْ يَوۡمَهُمُ ٱلَّذِي فِيهِ يُصۡعَقُونَ

ならば（使徒*よ）、彼らが卒倒するその日に遭遇するまで、彼らを放っておくがよい。

「その日」の解釈には、「彼らが死ぬ日」「バドルの戦い*の日」「最初に角笛に吹き込まれる日（家畜章７３の訳注も参照）」「復活の日*」といった諸説がある（前掲書、同頁参照）。
