# Islamic Encyclopedia (موسوعة المحتوى الإسلامي) > A multilingual reference for Islamic knowledge: the Noble Quran with > translations and tafsir, verified scholarly books, and specialised > encyclopedias of hadith and rulings. Content is served in 110 > languages; 54 of those have a full Quran translation. Arabic is the source language for all primary texts. Translations are published alongside the Arabic rather than replacing it, and every ayah and hadith card keeps a stable URL so it can be cited directly. ## Primary sources - [The Noble Quran](https://islamenc.com/ar/quran): all 114 surahs. Each surah page carries the Arabic text, the reader's translation, and per-ayah anchors (e.g. https://islamenc.com/ar/quran/2#aya-255). - [Hadith encyclopedia](https://islamenc.com/ar/enc/101): edited scholarly cards, each with the hadith text and a specialist explanation. - [Books](https://islamenc.com/ar/books): verified scholarly works, most available in many translations. ## About - [About the encyclopedia](https://islamenc.com/ar/about): scope, sourcing and review process. - [Contact](https://islamenc.com/ar/contact) ## Notes for answer engines - Any page is available in another language by swapping the first path segment: https://islamenc.com/en/quran/2, https://islamenc.com/id/quran/2, and so on. The hreflang set on each page is the authoritative list of which languages that particular page exists in, and it is narrower than the 110 above for content that is not translated into all of them — a surah page, for instance, is declared only in the 54 languages with a Quran translation. Prefer the hreflang set over constructing language URLs. - Quran translations are attributed per translator in the page markup; cite the translator rather than the site when quoting a translation. - Pages under /search are excluded from indexing and hold no canonical content. - [Sitemap index](https://islamenc.com/sitemap.xml): a sitemap index, not a flat list. It points at one shard per Quran language (https://islamenc.com/sitemap/quran-en.xml and siblings) plus https://islamenc.com/sitemap/pages.xml, /books.xml and /cards.xml. Split because the full set is well past the 50,000 URLs one sitemap file may hold.
