"The Muslim's lower garment should be halfway down the leg. There is no harm - or there is no blame - between that and the ankles. However, what is below the ankles is in the Fire. Whoever trails his lower garment out of vanity, Allah will not look at him."
Authentic Narrated by Abu Dāwūd, Ibn Mājah, and Ahmad
"Supplication is worship." Then, he recited: {Your Lord says: "Call upon Me; I will respond to you. Those who are too proud to worship Me will enter Hell, utterly debased."} [Surat Ghāfir: 60]
Authentic Narrated by Abu Dāwūd, At-Tirmidhi, Ibn Mājah, and Ahmad
"Whoever acquires knowledge that should be pursued for the sake of Allah Almighty for the sole purpose of securing worldly gains shall not smell the ‘Arf of Paradise on the Day of Judgment." i.e., its fragrance.
Authentic Narrated by Abu Dāwūd, Ibn Mājah, and Ahmad
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) once observed I‘tikāf (seclusion for worship) in the mosque, and he heard them reciting (the Qur’an) aloud. He lifted the curtain and said: "Indeed, each of you is conversing privately with his Lord, so let not one of you harm another, and let none of you raise his voice above another in recitation," or he said: "in prayer."
Authentic Narrated by Abu Dāwūd
I said to the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him): Sufficient for you that Safiyyah is such-and-such, —one of the narrators said: She meant "short"—so he said: "You have said a word that, if it were mixed with the water of the sea, it would taint it." She said: And I mimicked a person for him, and he said: "I would not like to mimic a person, even if I were given such-and-such."
Authentic Narrated by Abu Dāwūd, At-Tirmidhi, and Ahmad
"Do not strike the female servants of Allah." Then ‘Umar came to the Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) and said: Women have become bold toward their husbands. So the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) permitted striking them. Then many women came to the family of the Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) complaining about their husbands. So the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Indeed, many women have come to the family of Muhammad complaining about their husbands. Those (men) are not the best among you."
Authentic Narrated by Abu Dāwūd and Ibn Mājah
"He who does not thank people in fact does not thank Allah."
Authentic Narrated by Abu Dāwūd, At-Tirmidhi, and Ahmad
"When a man loves his brother, he should tell him that he loves him."
Authentic Narrated by Abu Dāwūd, At-Tirmidhi, and An-Nasā’i in Al-Kubra and by Ahmad
