"Whoever memorizes the first ten verses of Surat al-Kahf will be protected from the Antichrist." Another version reads: "the last ten verses of Surat al-Kahf."
Authentic Narrated by Muslim
A man from the Jews said to him: O Commander of the Believers, there is a verse in your Book; had it been sent down to us, the community of Jews, we would have taken this day as a festival. He said: Which verse? He said: {Today I have perfected your religion for you, completed My favor upon you, and have chosen Islam as your religion.} [Surat al-Mā’idah: 3]. ‘Umar said: Indeed, we know that day and the place where it was revealed to the Prophet (ﷺ) while he was standing at ‘Arafah on a Friday.

"Allah Almighty said: 'I have divided prayer between Myself and My servant into two halves, and My servant shall have what he has asked for.' When the servant says, '{All praise be to Allah, the Lord of the worlds}', Allah Almighty says: 'My servant has praised Me.' And when he says, '{The Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful}', Allah Almighty says: 'My servant has extolled Me.' And when he says, '{Master of the Day of Judgment}', Allah Almighty says: 'My servant has glorified Me' - And He also says: 'My servant entrusted his affairs to Me' - And when he says, '{You alone we worship, and You alone we ask for help}', He says: 'This is between Me and My servant, and My servant shall have what he has asked for.' And when he says, '{Guide us to the straight path, the path of those whom You have blessed; not of those who incurred Your Wrath, or of those who went astray}', He says: 'This is for My servant, and My servant shall have what he has asked for.'"

"As Gabriel (Jibrīl) was sitting with the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him), he heard a creak from above. So, he raised his head and said: That is a gate in the heavens that was opened today; it has never been opened except today. An angel descended from it. He said: That is an angel that descended to earth; he has never descended except today. He gave the greeting of peace and said: Have glad tidings with two lights that have been given to you, which no prophet before you has been given: Surat al-Fātihah and the concluding verses of Surat al-Baqarah. You will not read one letter of them except that you will be given it."

"Do not turn your houses into graves. Indeed, Satan runs away from the house in which Surat al-Baqarah is recited."

"O Abu al-Mundhir, do you know which verse of Allah's Book that you have is the greatest?" I replied: "Allah and His Messenger know best." He said: "O Abu al-Mundhir, do you know which verse of Allah's Book that you have is the greatest?" I said: "{Allah: none has the right to be worshiped except Him, the Ever-Living, All-Sustaining...} [Surat al-Baqarah: 255]." Thereupon, he struck me on the chest and said: "May knowledge be pleasant for you, O Abu al-Mundhir!"

When the Prophet (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him) went to bed every night, he would join his palms together and blow into them and recite the Surahs al-Ikhlās, al-Falaq, and an-Nās, and then he would wipe with his hands over as many parts of his body as he could, starting with his head, face, and the front of his body. He used to do that three times.

When the verse: {To Allah belongs all that is in the heavens and all that is on earth. Whether you reveal what is within yourselves or conceal it, Allah will call you to account for it. He forgives whom He wills and punishes whom He wills, for Allah is Most Capable of all things} [Surat al-Baqarah: 284] was revealed to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), he said: It was very hard on the Companions of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ). They came to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), knelt down on their knees, and said: O Messenger of Allah, we have been commanded to do acts of worship we can bear—prayer, fasting, Jihad, and charity—but now this verse has been revealed to you, and we cannot endure it. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "Do you wish to say as the People of the Two Scriptures said before you: We hear and we disobey?Rather say: We hear and obey. Grant us Your forgiveness, our Lord, and to You is the [final] destination." So they said: We hear and obey. Grant us Your forgiveness, our Lord, and to You is the final destination. When they recited it and their tongues humbly uttered those words, Allah revealed thereafter: {The Messenger believes in what has been sent down to him from his Lord, as do the believers. All of them believe in Allah, His angels, His Books, and His messengers, [saying], “We make no distinction between any of His messengers.” And they say, “We hear and obey. Grant us Your forgiveness, our Lord, and to You is the [final] destination.”} [Surat al-Baqarah: 285] Then Allah Almighty, out of His mercy, abrogated the previous ruling and revealed: {Allah does not burden any soul greater than it can bear. For it is what it has earned, and against it is what it has incurred. Our Lord, do not hold us accountable if we forget or fall into error.} [Surat al-Baqarah: 286] He said: "Yes." {Our Lord, do not place on us such a burden as You have placed on those before us.} [Surat al-Baqarah: 286] He said: "Yes." {Our Lord, do not burden us with that which we cannot bear.} [Surat al-Baqarah: 286] He said: "Yes." {Pardon us, forgive us, and have mercy on us. You are our Protector, so give us victory over the disbelieving people.} [Surat al-Baqarah: 286] He said: "Yes."
