There was a man who, as far as I know, lived farther from the mosque than anyone else, and he never missed a prayer. He said: It was said to him, or I said to him: If only you would buy a donkey so that you may ride it in the darkness and the scorching heat. He said: I do not like that my house be near the mosque, for I want the steps I take to the mosque and back from it to my family to be recorded for me. Upon this, the Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Verily, Allah has gathered all of that for you."
Authentic Narrated by Muslim
"If a person falls ill or travels, he shall be credited with whatever good deeds he used to perform while being at home and in good health."
Authentic Narrated by Al-Bukhāri
"There is a charity to be given for each joint of the human body every day on which the sun rises; judging justly between two is a charity, helping a man with his mount to ride on it or lift his luggage on it is a charity, the good word is a charity, every step that one takes to the prayer is a charity, and removing what is harmful from the way is a charity."
Authentic Agreed upon
"Charity is due upon every joint in a person's body each day the sun rises: to judge justly between two people is a charity. To help a man with his mount, lifting him onto it or hoisting up his belongings onto it, is a charity. Saying a good word is a charity. Every step that you take towards the prayer is a charity, and removing a harmful object from the road is a charity."
Authentic Narrated by Al-Bukhāri and Muslim
The Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) delivered a speech on the day of the Conquest of Makkah. He said: "O people, verily Allah has removed the arrogance of jāhiliyyah from you and their boastfulness about their forefathers. So, now, there are two types of men: a righteous, pious, and honorable person in the sight of Allah and a wicked, wretched, and insignificant person in the sight of Allah. People are the children of Adam, and Allah created Adam from dust. Allah says: {O mankind, We have created you from a male and a female, and made you into nations and tribes so that you may recognize one another. Indeed, the most noble of you before Allah is the most righteous among you. Indeed, Allah is All-Knowing and all-aware.} [Surat al-Hujurāt: 13]"
Authentic Narrated by At-Tirmidhi and Ibn Hibbaan
"Indeed, the religion is easy. No one overburdens himself in the religion except that he will be overwhelmed by it. So, seek uprightness (be moderate) and try to be close to it and receive the glad tidings. Seek help by worship in the Ghadwah (early morning), Rawhah (afternoon), and part of the Duljah (night)."
Authentic Narrated by Al-Bukhāri
