One day, the Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) gave us an eloquent admonition that caused hearts to become afraid and eyes to shed tears. Someone then said: O Messenger of Allah, this is the admonition of someone who will soon part; so, advise us. He said: "I advise you to fear Allah and to hear and obey, even if an Abyssinian slave. You will see after me great discord. So, hold fast to my Sunnah and the Sunnah of the rightly guided Caliphs. Bite onto it with the molar teeth. Beware of newly invented matters (in religion), for every newly invented matter is misguidance."
Authentic Narrated by Abu Dāwūd, At-Tirmidhi, Ibn Mājah, and Ahmad
"Lo! Soon a Hadīth from me will be conveyed to a man, while he is reclining on his couch, and he says: ‘Between us and you is Allah’s Book. So, whatever we find in it that is lawful, we consider lawful, and whatever we find in it that is unlawful, we consider unlawful.’ Indeed, whatever the Messenger of Allah made unlawful, it is the same as what Allah made unlawful."
Authentic Narrated by Abu Dāwūd, At-Tirmidhi, and Ibn Mājah
"The covenant between us and them is prayer; so, whoever abandons it has disbelieved."

"Tiyarah (belief in evil omens) is Shirk (polytheism). Tiyarah is Shirk. Tiyarah is Shirk - three times." Every one of us experiences something of that, but Allah Almighty dispels it with reliance on Him.
Authentic Narrated by Abu Dāwūd, At-Tirmidhi, Ibn Mājah, and Ahmad
The Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) cursed the man who wears women's clothes and the woman who wears men's clothes.
Authentic Narrated by An-Nasā’i in Al-Kubra and Ibn Mājah with a similar meaning and by Ahmad
"We are the last of the nations, and the first to be brought to account. It will be said: Where is the unlettered nation and its Prophet? Thus, we are the last (in time) but the first (on the Day of Judgment)."
Authentic Narrated by Ibn Maajah
"Whoever acquires a branch of the knowledge of astrology acquires a branch of magic, of which he acquires more as long as he continues to do so."
Authentic Narrated by Abu Dāwūd, Ibn Mājah, and Ahmad
A man came to the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) and talked to him about some matter and then said: It is as Allah wills and you will. Thereupon, the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Do you make me an equal to Allah? Say: 'It is as Allah alone wills.'"
Its chain of narrators is Hasan/Sound. رواه ابن ماجه والنسائي في الكبرى وأحمد
